On page one of this thread I wished you the best, and I still do. I've been following this thread because it is an interesting conversation, and didn't intend to add another post. But I think it's worth noting that you've identified what you are seeking, and that's the first part of getting what you want. 😀

So perhaps, going on a vanilla date made you consider what you DO want. Nothing wrong with that. It's progress. 🙂
 
So out of curiousity... have you ever considered asking Lee to try and set you up with someone? I would think she would know you pretty well and might have a flair for matchmaking? Of course if she has a devious sense of humour you might remain in the same boat as you are now 😀

I realize I indeed have to start using "IMHO" more often!

I know that there are poly people out there who actually function, but you have to admit that it is not a really big majority who lives that way, it is pretty untypical for a human, it is pretty rare! So maybe when you go out on a first date with a vanilla guy you shouldn't expect too much tolerance for it from that person! 🙂

When they sleep together and are spooning, then yeah, that's sort of what you'd call a general indicator.

I have to agree with ya Glam. Most girls, including myself, have no problems showing affection to fellow friends that are girls.

Nothing wrong with it and for others to just assume otherwise, well, maybe it's something they have to deal with. I'm not worried about it.
 
Personally i think the gate swings both ways,..unfortunately the bad dates are the ones you remember the most.

Without exception they all confirmed what I already knew to be true. That while it's true that women tend to show affection to one another more freely than men, What's being talked about here goes way beyond that. The smooching...the cuddling...the spooning...the sleeping together as shown in Amanda's picture...the F/F D/s relationship...the constant ILY's not to men but to other women...the steadily dwindling percentage of guys that she actually finds attractive....The ever increasing requirements of guys she'll consider dating....Any one of these things can be shrugged off, but when you put them all together, they point very clearly and unarguably to an emerging preference for women over men.

I personally find nothing wrong with that, but evidently many of the women in Amanda's circle seem to feel otherwise, as they insist it's not true and take offense to the notion.

If I was less than truthful about anything it would be that I didn't post some of the harsher and downright brutal comments offered by the people who took a look at THIS thread. They know cliquish behavior when they see it.

kind of "professionals" or "business people" you work with, but nobody
stands around someone's cubicle and looks at the fetish forum he posts
on. It's a pretty humorous thought though. I'd have a tough time buying
this one even if you weren't posting under a sock. I might buy it if you
worked at Hot Topic, or a tattoo parlor... but not an office.
