Well that "joke" ended up screwing up a very good ongoing conversation. The gentleman that I was trading messages with was pissed and will no longer continue the conversation. Sent me a message saying.....well i guess we should just forget the whole thing then..bye. Real mature of them. Thanks alot. Jesus. I know. In fact, I quoted you earlier in this thread in total agreement. Messing with the PMs was in horribly bad taste. That's the thing I have the biggest problem with. Though I realize the scripting affecting PMs was just one of its side effects, I feel those responsible owe some huge apologies for that. Especially for what happened to you.

Hey guys, just wanted you to know after I continue paying for updates, server maintenance, electricity, bandwith, bulletin updates and all is set I am going to have a little fun on July 5th. What I plan on doing is <snicker> replace the TMF with.....ready for it.......ready...A PICTURE OF A Treasure Troll and call it the Treasure Troll Forum!! Yeah, and I will replace everyone's signature with different treasure trolls for 6 hours. From noon EDT untill 6pm EDT.

Seriously though, we all get a pretty big and well organized sandbox to play in for free. We don't pay fees to use the site so we're not 'customers' we're guests. If the owners and mods want to play a prank it's up to them.

Messing with anyones priivate messages in the chat or in the forum is not cool. These things are kept private for a reason. People often discuss very personal matters that they dont want to air in the main room. So anything that messes with those conversations can be very destructive or hurtful.

Just to let people know, I hope they know...

That words changed in PM or such were not read and changed each and everyone by hand. That would take a LONG time to do. I am certain it was just a simple forum wide word change that affected every aspect of the forum.

No one read you private PM's or went through them. I am 100% certain about that.

Hopefully that will calm some nerves, perhaps people thought their private stuff was messed with, and I can assure you that no one personal stuff was up for a private or public review.

Now that we understand that, hopefully a few people will not be as upset. Because I can honestly see how if you thought your personal and private PM's were read and changed would certainly make people angry and for good reason.

You're so right. They owe major apologies for using THEIR forum to entertain themselves and some of the not so stick-up-the-butt-esque members. The fact that you really feel like the people who provide this forum owe you anything is laughable. It's not yours. It's theirs.

K. lulz. The words that were altered as I explained to you before, were Tickling and all variations of that word. As well as Feet and all variations of that word.
