Why do men find high heeled shoes on women so sexy?

I've always been curious about this, I mean it's common sense I guess, however I'd like to hear some feedback from the male population (as well as the female population).

I'd much rather see a woman in a sexy open toed slipper, and one I can remove easily.

Because they're designed specifically to draw attention to and accentuate the natural beauty that's already present. Same as many other articles of clothing.

Sneakers can be hot too. But, I agree with you on the whole face, etc. thing. A high heel by itself just makes me think of Sex In The City which makes me curl into a ball, rock back and forth and cry.

High-heeled shoes force the muscles in the legs to flex. It gives the legs a more muscular, fit, toned look. Such a look is found to be attractive for many guys.

In short, it's a psychology thing. I personally don't have anything for them, but then, on a forum with so many foot fetishists, anything besides barefoot won't turn many heads. 🙂

On the one hand is the actual way it lengthens and shapes the leg, as has already been mentioned.

And on the other hand, which I suspect is just as important (if not more, as in my case) is the symbolism of femininity and sexuality that's assigned to that particular kind of shoe. 😀

I mean personally I don't enjoy wearing high heeled shoes, they look nice but boy do they HURT!!!, and I think that a nice pair of flats, peep toe (flat) shoes, or nice sandels are just as sexy especially because I can get from point A to point B a whole lot faster 🙂.

because of the curves, and you know her feet are nicely curved in there too, sometimes they take them off half way and just let them dangle..wow hot! Plus normally they wear high heels with a dress or dress pants and such. They look both professional and sexy! Plus the sound they make when they walk! clop clop clop!

I am actually a weird one =P I don't find high heels sexy all that much. (Of course it can depend on the person wearing them) I always see girls in them and it doesn't do much for me. I think it may also be I love shortness as well. I love how girls look in trainers like Vans a lot of the time. I also really like flat shoes on girls that shows a tiny bit of skin if you get me? I'm not good with names of shoes *sigh.

Apparently they give height to a woman and gives her legs more length, plus showing off the shapeliness as well...however talking to a lot of women that actually care for their feet , they say high heels tend to ruin the feet,..personally i think they look great but on the other hand i prefer pretty feet ,..so if high heels are foot killers go without .

I find high heels very sexy, particularly the open-toed variety since I have a toe fetish. I think quite a few are missing the point of high heels though. They are designed to accentuate the muscles in the calves to make them appear more defined and shapely.

The issue I have with heels is it bunches the toes into the shoe if it's not completely open. Plus, the straps put welts around the ankles. Some women make it worse for themselves by wearing shoes that don't fit to make their feet appear smaller.

All of that being said, I think a woman is at her sexiest when she's wearing daisy duke shorts and flip-flops.

It's good to know a majority does care about the comfort aspect lol. They have their moments but if I had to choose I'd still do without, even though they look awesome on 🙂, I guess cause I'm kind of short 5'4, so having the added height is always nice I guess.

Not an advocate of high heels all the time for obvious reasons, but I LOVE to see women in heels....especially those with a mean walk (as opposed to looking like there's dog doo in their shoes). In addition to the accentuation of the leg muscles, it just makes a woman look more femenine (for lack of a better word.....so sue me, it's late)and sexy to me. And if I already know that the feet inside said high heels are pretty, then the thought of taking them off for her or watching her dangle her shoe can drive a guy insane. As a ler and one with a foot fetish, I can definitely appreciate bare feet or in some nice sandals, but there's no such thing as CFM flip flops.........it's all about the pumps baby!!
